Tips for  the Math SC Ready Test

Before the Test

Please schedule doctor/dental appointments around test dates so that students are present and on time for tests each day.

On Test Days

Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.  This will ensure that your child is working at full capacity.

If your son or daughter wears glasses, make sure they have them.

Remain positive and help students avoid conflicts or becoming upset. Help your child stay calm. If students get upset about anything before school, they are likely to experience anxiety during the test.

Arrive on time.

Continue practicing multiplication facts

We are continuing our second fractions unit which focuses on comparing fractions, equivalent fractions, and fractions greater than 1. Students will continue learning at their pace, blending technology with instruction. They will also get meaningful small group instruction, at their level, with the teacher. We are looking forward to another successful unit.
