We will also be using the Blended Workshop model for this unit. Students will be learning at their pace, blending technology with instruction. They will also get meaningful small group instruction, at their level, with the teacher. We are looking forward to another successful unit.

Multiplication
This week, students started Multiplication Station, a self-paced multiplication fact practice that will help memorize the multiplication facts through 12 x 12. Upon finishing a level, each student will take a multiplication fact quiz to ensure that those particular facts have been mastered.

In order to help your child experience success with multiplication, please take about 5-10 minutes each night to practice the facts at home. On Monday, your child will receive a daily checklist to keep track of at-home practice. This should stay stapled in the front of your child's assignment book.
